The story behind DASH ... 

DOLLY is our doodled ballerina. Symbol of our famous ballet fashion. Dolly is dating DASH! Dash is a dashing dude and comes with his own athleisure line for boys & men inspired by my son Luuk. Born in 1999, very social and sportive and as a little boy very into action figures and super dudes!  DOLLY by Le Petit Tom ® is our brand for more than 16 years now and we are famous for our tutus and dresses for girls who, as our slogan says, want to wear these everyday anyway.

We know those girls aren't the ones doing the actual shopping. That is done by you, mothers, friends, aunts, grandma's mostly. Not to discriminate and yes, we know some man, husbands, uncles and grandpa's shop too.  As the designer of DOLLY having a girl ( now almost 13) after having 4 boys, ( 23, 21, 19 and 16) I found it time to finally design a collection for men and boys. 

All 4 brought up with the same love, same rules,  same environment, but oh boy, all 4 so very different and with great personalities. I love how each loves it's own music, movies, animals and... not to forget specific foods.

With all respect I like to generalize and  'label' them as follows: 2 nerds and gamers, knowing all about the universe, planets and loving metal, ( one of them plays a superb version of my fav rock band song Reapers from Muse) and 2 sportive, high testosteron sportive types, having the girl friends. All 4 have a great passion for nature and animals, that is a red thread going through along with the fact we all love movies. I find myself a very lucky mother surprised by the fact they always ' invite ' me  on a Whatsapp round to go to the movies with them.  Love to experience how they look and feel the vibes of super hero movies the same way as I did when they were little and sat on my lap ( or in a carton box from a new TV, which in those days were as deep as they were wide : Widescreen TV... now a child would not fit a carton of the flattest panel every existed 🙂 

My brand is called Dolly, because of our daughter looking like one when I held her up high for the first time wearing a dress ( which is quite new and shocking after having our 4 stunning boys).

To expand my line for boys I ' used' our 2nd son, Luuk, who is most ' into Fashion' and always looking dash to match Dolly.... DOLLY & DASH

Since 2014 we are very lucky enjoying our home away from home in Andalucia. Every holiday we are together experiencing great and special moments, thrills and  ' vibes' coming from that beautiful place.

I take photos all the time and over these last years I have captured these vibes and translated them on attractive athleisure as artwork. I marked them with a name for the vibe with sometimes a hint of humor.
