En nu ben ik hier om mijn visie op het gebied van fashion en alles daaromheen met jullie te delen. In the past year, Scarlett has participated in the Dutch Top Model Program at Iwannabeamodel.nl. How did both of you experience this?
Our experience with Iwannabeamodel.nl has been very positive so far. Richella and Albert are always ready to answer questions and are involved in Scarlett's assignments.
Scarlett has had multiple collaborations. What are her highlights?
Our collaboration with Le Petit Tom ® and Scarlett as brandrep: Scarlett has been wearing DOLLY by Le Petit Tom's clothes and ballet flats since she was a baby. When Iwannabeamodel.nl asked us which brands we want to be working with, we didn't hesitate at all. The quality and special girly garments immediately appeal to us. Scarlett really feels like a princess in the beautiful dresses of DOLLY by Le Petit Tom ®.
Where did Scarlett show the most of her growth?
Scarlett is freer during shoots and also more aware of her posture. Every shoot is a moment of growth. She likes to dress up and her hobby as a model fits in perfectly with this.
You said in the first interview that it is your wish for Scarlett to be discovered by high fashion from exclusive brands. Don't you think it's cool that Le Petit Tom also wants to publish this interview?
Scarlett is very happy to have this opportunity as she has been a fan of the brand for years. Working with Le Petit Tom is a dream come true. When there are internal shoots again, Scarlett would be thrilled to be able to participate.
Do you have any short-term wishes?
It was a bizarre year because of Corona, resulting modeling work was on a low profile everywhere. Step by step we are going back to the time it was before COVID-19. Scarlett hopes to have the opportunity to participate in a fashion week again. Just before COVID-19 was discovered, she was invited to participate in New York Fashion Week. This was a fantastic experience. We will wait and see the future of modeling events, so far she will continue to enjoy the modeling work and the beautiful experiences.

For the passed 7 years I am having the luxury of spending every summer holiday in our home away from home in the south of Andalucia in Spain bringing me so much inspiration. Andalucia's nature is extremely diverse going from snowy mountains, sunflower, olive and almond fields to a desert and the Mediterranean sea all in reach within 1 or 2 hours drive. In these passed 7 years we've only seen just a fraction of what it has to offer.
This year we finally went to the desert in Tabernas Almeria where several hundreds of movies were filmed in a town build by the famous movie director Sergio Leone. Mainly spaghetti westerns like ' The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' , 'For a few dollars more', ' Cleopatra', 'Lawrence of Arabia and many Clint Eastwood films. Check here for a full list. The western town build by Mr. Leone still exists and is now a movie theme park with real shows, complete zoo and ........ a souvenir shop. Of course we have to go to the souvenir shop. There I find this very big, handmade in Spain dreamcatcher with pink wooden beads. I want it and I already know where I want to hang it in our little castle. Above my head, to catch my dreams
This beautiful dreamcatcher is crochet by hand and this became my inspiration for the new DOLLY collection for 2022 and already know that collection is again one to become popular and available for many year to come. ( that sounds really arrogant, I know, but it's just my enthusiasm speaking as well as my commerce brain. )
Crochet? Yes crochet. Crocheting used to be old fashioned, boring and for dull people. Crochet dresses come from the 70s, but crochet dresses are big and back on the catwalks since this year and soon into your DOLLY wardrobe. Our team is now very busy making completely new, reimagined crochet techniques with a modern look and of course our signature ballet style. We cannot wait to show you.
